It's a thing

Live Local. Work Local. Play Local.

BUY Local.

Businesses and organizations of all sizes are facing challenges today more than ever. The unprecedented challenges of the COVID pandemic have elevated the need for our local community to support local business now more than ever.

COScares.org is a pledge of local businesses and organizations that have partnered with Axis Business Technologies and other locally-owned businesses to participate in commerce programs designed to benefit the welfare of the citizens of Colorado Springs and the surrounding areas.

Your dollar brings more than twice as much economic impact to Colorado Springs when the dollars are spent with a locally-owned business.

Local organizations doing business with each other positively impacts our local economy. With increased net proceeds of local B2B (business to business) commerce, additional financial resources will be available for helping people in crisis and improving the financial resources available within our community.

Denver-based companies, national chains, & e-commerce leak money out of our local community.  While we support all commerce, net proceeds generated by companies that are not locally-owned leave Colorado Springs.  Denver-based companies who have satellite operations in Colorado Springs simply skim our local economy for additional profits to fund their Denver operations.

Just a small change in our buying habits can have a profound effect on our Colorado Spring’s economy. "It is estimated that if every family in the US spent just $10 more a year with a local business we would return $9.3 billion to our US economy."
